About
Jeremiah LeBlanc : Graphic Design & Illustration
Jeremiah LeBlanc is a graphic designer and illustrator living in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Growing up in the small Atlantic Canadian province of New Brunswick, Jeremiah was inspired by his east-coast roots. Nature could always be found close at hand, with forest trails and backyard woods offering multiple worlds to explore.
Living in the city of Moncton, Jeremiah would spend summers in the countryside of Albert County, and the town of Alma, near the Bay of Fundy. Later, while attending school at Fanshawe College, in London, Ontario, Jeremiah returned to work in the Fundy Bay National Park during the summer, living in the National Park itself.
experience
Jeremiah left the east-coast maritimes to live in Montréal, Québec, to attend Concordia University for their Fine Arts program, changing to Dawson College's Graphic Design program, which he completed in 2014.
Following the program, Jeremiah had the opportunity to work at Rank Media Agency as a graphic designer, creating brand identities, various promotional materials, both digital and print as well as website design. Following that contract, Jeremiah then began employment working for Buffalo David Bitton, designing graphics for clothing. Currently, Jeremiah works for a marketing company specializing in promoting various automobile brands across the Montreal island and parts of its surrounding areas. View design works on Behance.
Independently, Jeremiah has created original illustrations for various projects, including The Sylvan Song, a novel by Sean Picard, as well as various websites and identity design for clients.
interests
While not involved in design work or drawing, inspiration continues through various channels, including linguistics, computer-coding, theology, and psychology. In attempts to close the nature gap, he takes any opportunity to participate in hiking and camping activities, returning regularly to Fundy National Park and Alma, on pilgrimage.
